Comparative Study of Ultrasonic Elastography with Two-dimensional Gray Scale Ultrasound in Diagnosing of Breast Diseases

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the value of ultrasonic elastography and two-dimensional gray scale ultrasound in diagnosing breast diseases.
Methods:We compared the accuracy of ultrasonic elastography and two-dimensional gray scale ultrasound for diagnosing breast diseases using pathology as the golden criteria.
Results:The sensitivity,specificity,accuracy of ultrasonic elastography were 83.2%,98.1%,94.5%,and those of two-dimensional gray scale ultrasound were 82.5%,77.9%,79.0%,respectively.
Conclusions:The accuracy of ultrasonic elastography is much higher than that of two-dimensional gray scale ultrasound. The combination of the two methods can elevate the accuracy for differentiating the benign and malignant breast tumours.

超声由于无放射性、安全、简单、可重复性和价廉,在临床上被作为乳腺病变检查的常用手段。二维灰阶超声检查主要是根据乳腺肿瘤与周围腺体组织的声阻抗差异成像来观察乳腺肿瘤的边缘、形态、回声分布等特征,从而对乳腺肿瘤进行良恶性判别[1-2]。超声弹性成像作为一种新技术,是1991年Ophir等[3]首次提出,它通过了解所检测组织的硬度以判别其良恶性,目前主要应用于浅表组织器官的研究。本研究拟比较超声弹性成像与二维灰阶超声诊断乳腺病变的价值。
一、资料与方法
分析2004年9月至2005年12月对我院行乳腺手术治疗的484例女性患者共563个病灶,最大直径3.1~130.5mm(平均17.97±12.80mm),患者年龄17~87岁(平均39.6±13.0岁)。所用仪器、检查及UE评分方法与我们既往研究相同[4]。 |
