Abstract
Objective:To study the changes of serum vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) before and after microwave ablation in patients with one hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) of diameter ≤5cm. Methods:Serum VEGF levels were measured by the method of ELISA. In the patients who accepted microwave ablation, blood was collected before the treatment and 1, 3, 7 day and 1 month after the treatment. 18 healthy individuals were as contrast. Results:Serum levels of VEGF in patients with HCC were significantly higher than those in healthy individuals (P<0.05=. Serum levels of VEGF decreased significantly 1 day after microwave ablation but recovered to the pretreatment level in the 3rd day. In the 7th day after treatment, VEGF level was significantly higher than that of pretreatment and decreased to the pretreatment level at 1 month after treatment. Conclusion:Serum VEGF level changed after microwave ablation. This change not only reflected the recovery process of the liver after microwave ablation, but also reflected that microwave ablation was a curative therapy for HCC whose largest diameter was less than 5 cm. 原发性肝癌是我国最常见的恶性肿瘤之一。小肝癌(单发,直径≤5cm)大多数处于肝癌发展的早期阶段,也是临床治疗肝癌的重点。目前,微波治疗作为一种微创治疗方法,无论是在治疗的范围,还是在治疗后组织的凝固形态上都得到了很大的提高。在技术上可达到直径≤5cm的小肝癌的一次性完全灭活。VEGF是目前所知的最强的直接作用于血管内皮细胞的生长因子,其不仅在肝癌组织中呈高度表达,在外周血液中也存在与疾病进程一致的水平改变[1],其含量增减常与肿瘤的消长、瘤体负荷等有关。有报道表明,肝癌的介入治疗后会引起血清中VEGF的增高,从而促进肿瘤的转移复发[2]。但微波治疗后血清中VEGF水平的改变如何目前还未见报道。本研究拟对此进行研究,进一步分析微波消融对血清中VEGF的影响。 |
