ABSTRACT It is common to know the main artery's disease by the examination of carotid artery in clinic. Plaque morphology and composition(especially the "unstable plaque.)have been proposed as important risk factors for acute clinical syndrome, such as heart attack and stroke .This review summarizes the rationale for plaque imaging and describes the characteristics of plaque by use of noninvasive imaging method. 心脑血管疾病是危害人类健康的严重疾病,动脉粥样硬化无疑是引起心脑血管疾病的首要原因。颈动脉位置表浅,己被证实可作为反映全身动脉粥样硬化情况的“窗口”。颈动脉粥样硬化与冠心病密切相关,同时也是引起缺血性脑卒中的常见病因。因此对于颈动脉粥样硬化形成机制、危险因素、诊断及治疗的研究尤为重要。 动脉粥样硬化是一种累及全身动脉血管,特别是弹力型动脉的非炎症性、退行性和增生性病变。动脉粥样硬化的形成主要与动脉血管内皮细胞和血管平滑肌细胞受到各种损伤有关。其一般过程包括:1.血管内皮细胞损伤和局部单核细胞和/或血小板粘附; 2.泡沫细胞形成和平滑肌细胞由中层向内膜移行; 3.内膜中平滑肌细胞增殖性; 4.动脉粥样硬化斑块形成。 |
