ABSTRACT Objective: To evaluate the clinical feasibility of rotational digital subtraction cerebral angiography. Methods: Rotational digital subtraction cerebral angiography of questioned side was performed in 45 patients with suspected intracranial aneurysm, spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage and arteriovenus malformation who had conventional digital subtraction angiography. The difference in showing cerebral vascular abnormalities with Rotational digital subtraction cerebral angiography wsd compared with conventional digital subtraction angiography. The displaying of intracranial aneurysms on endovascular interventional procedures was to be observed. Results: Among 45 patients, there were 29 cases of intracranial aneurysm with complete occlusion in 26 cases , 10 cases of arteriovenus malformation and 6 cases of meningiomas. The anatomic details of aneurysms and arteriovenus malformations and the supplying arteries of meningiomas can be depicted clearly and accurately by rotational digital subtraction cerebral angiography compared with conventional digital subtraction angiography. Conclusion: Rotational digital subtraction cerebral angiography technique can accurately and completely display pathological anatomic details of cerebral vasculatue , which is of great value in guiding the endovascular interventional management.
