ABSTRACT
Objective:To investigate the clinical application of sensitivity encoding technique (SENSE) for fast MRI in abdominal imaging. Methods:Conventional sequences of abdominal MRI followed by combined SENSE with same parameters were performed in 15 patients. The reduction of scan time and contrast resolution of images with and without SENSE were measured. Results:After applyingSENSE technique with reduction factor2.0, the scan time of each conventional sequence in abdominal imaging decreased 43-50 percentage of the counter parts without SENSE. Meanwhile, contrast resolution on SENSE imaging almost kept the same as that on conventionalsequences. Conclusion:SENSE technique can significantly shorten scan time and keep the high image quality. SENSE technique is a promising concept in fast magnetic resonance imaging. Keywords:Sensitivity encoding; Magnetic resonance imaging; Receiver coil array; Abdomen
磁共振成像的梯度编码一次只能对K空间一个位置采样,K空间填充速率成为决定扫描时间长短的关键性因素尽管为了提高K空间的填充速率,梯度系统性能得到大大提高,但从生理以及技术角度出发,梯度编码决定的K空间填充速率几乎已提高到其内在的极限[1]。 敏感性编码(sensitivity encodingSENSE)是傅立叶成像中完全不同于梯度编码的成像方法它基于受检物体附近接收线圈中信号电压的大小随其相对位置变化而变化成像时使用的接收线圈,它的空间敏感性函数暗含了受检体的位置这一重要信息利用这点,使用多个平行排列的不同接收线圈组成的协同线圈,一次性采样即可获得受检体全部的位置信息,重建出MRI图像它不通过提高K空间速率来减少扫描时间目前,我院开始在MRI常规扫描中应用SENSE技术本研究将SENSE技术初步应用在腹部快速MRI检查中,探讨SENSE技术缩短MRI快速扫描时间的作用以及对图像对比分辨率的影响。 |
