CT and MRI Diagnosis of Cerebralventricular Tumors<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Abtract
Objective:To improve the preoperative diagnostic accuracy of cerebralventricular tumors by analyzing CT and MRI characteristic findings.
Methods:The CT and MRI manifestations of 39 cases of cerebralventricular tumors were reviewed retrospectively, all of the cases were proved by surgery and pathology.
Results:There were 10 kind of tumors in 39 cases, inclusive 9 cases were ependymomas, 7 cases were astrocytomas, 2 cases were meningiomas, choroids plexus papillomas and terato-dermold tumors in each one. 4 cases were medulloblastomas and Subependymal giant cell astrocytoma in each one.3 cases were craniopharyngioma, 5 cases were metastatic tumor and 1 cases was germinoma.
Conclusion:CT and MRI can accuratedly manifest the place and extent of disease of cerebralventricular tumors.
