Abstract
Objective:Discussing the assessment value of liver reserve function for reservation liver volume rate before hapetectomy for hepatoma.
Methods:59 cases of operative liver cancer patients were studied. All patients were checked by two-phase CT scanning. The reservation liver volumes were measured with CT before operation and the reservation liver volumes rate {the ratio of reservation liver volume to estimated liver volume, the estimated liver volume=121.745+16.490×body weight(kg)} were calculated. The reservation liver volumes were compared with the postoperative survival rate to carry out the difference analysis of intergroup.
Results:The difference of survival rate between the retain liver volume rate ≤ 50% group and > 50% group was of valuable significance in statistics (V 2=4.9881,p < 0.05 ); Otherwise, the difference of survival rate between the resected liver volume rate ≤ 50% group and > 50% group was not of valuable significance in statistics (V 2 = 0.0154,p > 0.05 ) .
Conclusion:Reservation liver volume rate can be one of important index of liver reserve function for the clinical skill of liver cancer.
