Ultrasonographic study of experimental rabbit VX2 liver carcinomas by intravenous injection of FX530

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of ultrasonography observing the experimental rabbit VX2 liver carcinomas by intravenous administration of ultrasonographic contrast agent FX530.
Methods:The animal models of transplanted VX2 carcinomas in the livers of 15 rabbits (20 nodules) were prepared.After intravenous injection of FX530,grey scale ultrasonography was used to observe the enhancememt of liver textures and VX2 liver carcinomas.
Results:After injection,grey scale ultrasonography of the liver parenchyma,arteries and portal veins in the liver and the carcinoma vascularities were well enhanced.As the tumor tissue was slightly enhanced or not enhanced,the visibility of the VX2 carcinomas was greatly improved,even very small carcinomas could be detected.
Conclusions:Intravenous ultrasonographic contrast agent could improve the visualization of hepatic carcinoma.

肝癌是我国较常见且恶性程度很高的恶性肿瘤之一,肝癌早期诊断主要依赖各种影像学方法和血清甲胎蛋白的检测。近年来。由于新型声学造影剂及其相关技术的发展,使超声对小肝癌的检出率明显提高[1,2]。本研究观察应用新型声学造影剂FX530对兔肝脏和实验性兔VX2肝癌的增强效果,现报道如下。
