Abstract
Objective:A new method is designed for diagnosing liver cirrhosis through CT image of liver cirrhosis.
Methods:The study were 50 hospitalized cases of liver cirrhosis which included 42 males and 8 females in gender,The mean age was 55.9 years old ranged from 34 to 79 years old.All of 50 subjects had plain CT and/or enhanced CT scanning and clinical materials.A new method for grading liver CT was studied by double-blind method and was used to grade the 50 cases with liver cirrhosis according to their CT images. To explore the effect of the CT grade,Comparisons were made for the CT grade to the Child-Pugh grade, and to therapy result and to prognosis of these 50 patients.
Results:The correlation of the double-blind results were 0.89、0.93 and 0.96(P<0.0001).The correlation of liver CT grade and Child-Pugh grade was RS=0.8 (P<0.0001), which showed a significant association with prognosis (two-sides:P<0.0001).The level and the number of portal hypertension signs were increasing with CT grade from 1 to 4.
Conclusion:CT grade which was according to hepatic CT sign and portal vein hypertension CT sign may be one of important indices available for assessment serious level and prognosis of liver cirrhosis.
Key words:Liver cirrhosis CT grade Tomography,X-ray computed
